WowI purchased this product for $230 from Walmart. It was delivered two days later. Outstanding job Walmart. I'm a 70-year-old man and always wanted to fly either a model plane or drone. I tried a plane and I flew it once. It crashed and was unusable. A few years went by and I did research on drones. All the review I saw said Contixo F24 Pro was the drone to get. I was shocked when it was delivered in two days. And you don't have to put anything together. And don't underestimate the bag, its very hard to carry the drone, controller, cell phone and a landing pad without a bag. The bag holds it all, other manufacturers you must buy the bag.\nI charged the batteries and read the manual, which again was a great feature. It was well written and right to the point. The next day I ran out to try my luck. I was amazed, I used the instructions to connect the drone to the controller, the WIFI and the application. Everything went as explained in the manual. I used the take-off button which raises the drone to five feet. I'm still using the drone in beginning mode which is an outstanding feature. It limits your height and distance. The first thing I used was the home key (GPS)to make sure I wouldn't lose my drone. I have to use this word again, AMAZING the drone came back to the landing pad it took off from. Within 8 inches unbelievable \nI flew this drone in windy conditions and the drone performed as if it wasn't windy. The battery does last around 30 minutes. The camera moves up and down from the controller and the video is very clear. There are many features that I haven't tried, that's whats great about this drone, there's always something else to learn about the capabilities this amazing drone has. I can go on and on. This drone is worth the money. Amazing

I have been wanting a drone for a while I checked the reviews on this one and decided to try it out. I have to say that as a first time drone owner I did not know what to expect or how to get started. I read the user manual and tried it out. I eventually got the drone to connect to the controller and when I accidentally pressed the unlock button the drone started to fly into my walls. luckily it did not break anything. After the initial snafu I got it to fly around the yard without too much problem. I wish the instructions were easier to follow. It is fun so far! the kids flew it around too so the controls are intuitive.

Purchased this drone just to get my feet wet before upgrading to a bigger one. Shipped really fast and not damaged. Opened it and charged both batteries before using. Downloaded the app and took it for a test flight in an open field. Was a little worried about wind because there was a pretty good breeze but it handled it fine. Flight time was accurate and the app worked great allowing me to plan a flight pattern and orbit. Picture and video were nice and clear. All in all a good drone for the price.

This drone is an excellent value. Came as advertised ready to use. The directions were easy to follow and the drone was in the air in minutes. Although it was alittle breezy the drone was very stable and picture quality is great. I have never flown a drone before so enjoy the fact that the drone practically flies itself. I cant wait to fly some more and get birdseye shots. I would recomnend this drone to others.

This is my first drone, and I found it easy to configure and fly. It handled with sensitivity to touch on the controls, but after some practice, it worked fine. It seems sturdy enough, though it seems to corkscrew on ascent a bit. The return home and 1 touch lift off buttons work fairly consistently. Overall a good product. I would recommend it at the rice point.

For the price it’s pretty much the best bang for the buck. Initial setup to get it flying is a little involved. Easy to fly though, can hold position in light winds. Controls are very easy and as long as your paying attention it’s almost impossible to crash.

This is a fantastic drone for someone to learn how to fly a GPS type drone. The reach and distance on this is similar to a product that would cost over $500.. The only challenge is you need to work with customer support on a lot of your questions because the manual does not cover in detail many of the options. And features. I am not sure if you have to use contixo parts for the prop or you can use generic. The photos and videos are outstanding. It is very important to calibrate it away from metal and other Wi-Fi systems. The controller is one of the best with visual effects. The fact it comesWith an extra battery and the SD card is a fantastic bargain. One drawback is the high-quality video and pictures can be difficult to text because of the size of the files. Typically you have to email these or figure out how to zip them. The safety feature of return to home and low battery return to home makes this a very sophisticated item at this price. The photos I am attaching are actually screenshots from the app and then transferred from my camera roll on iPhone. The app used to fly it by phone is not the contact so app it is the RC app and it is detailed and instruction manual

Fun to fly, stable, HD video/photos
Reviewed on www.bestbuy.com·ReviewedByPhil
The Contixo F28-Premium is my first budget-level mini gimbal camera drone. At first glance it seems nearly an exact copy of another brand name drone but at a more affordable price point; however, there are several differences, namely the camera and software features, that sets it apart.\n\nThe drone comes with a 5 GHz remote control with built-in stats LCD, 1 removable battery, replacement parts, landing pad, a USB-C charging cable, and semi-rigid carrying case. The plastic body of this drone is extremely lightweight and feels almost toy-like though is not as delicate as it seems and can survive bumps and mild crashes. The drone arms fold in and nest for compact storage, but the blades aren’t secured in place when folded. The joysticks on the controller can also be unscrewed and stored in its base. Note that you will have to supply your own microSD card up to 128GB (Class 10 or higher) for recording video and taking photos with the 4K camera, as one is not included. \n\nIf this is your first drone, you may need to register with the FAA for a small fee, however, drones that are under 249g, like this one, are exempt if using solely for recreation and not business (e.g. content creation, marketing, or real estate etc.). Regardless, even unregistered drone users must follow all FAA UAV regulations, and a number of mobile apps can help you determine where there is unregulated airspace in which you may fly the drone safely.\n\nThe drone’s battery and remote control each take about 3 hours to charge fully when depleted; a wall adapter is not included. On a full charge the remote can run for approximately 90 minutes while the drone’s battery lasts for around 20-25 minutes of flight depending on flight conditions and flying habits. Given such a short flight time, I wish that the drone had come with at least 1 spare battery since there is such a long lead-time between charges. \n\nThe 4K camera and gimbal have a protective cover over it that needs to be removed before flight. To power on/off the drone, press and hold the button on the battery for about 5 seconds. When powering on the remote control, you need to click the power button once, then press it again while holding it down, otherwise it’ll simply display the remaining battery life.\n\nOnce both are powered on they will pair with each other automatically. You’ll also need to download and use the Contixo F28 mobile app on a smartphone and connect to the drone’s local WiFi network. The top of the controller contains a spring-loaded phone holster, so you can mount your phone just above it. The spring has just enough extension to accommodate my Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra with a slim case. Chunkier cases may need to be removed in order to fit.\n\nThe controller has two swappable joysticks for flight control and one-touch buttons for take-off/landing, auto-return home, and mode selection: GPS, Normal, Sport, or Camera. The LCD shows you the current mode, battery levels, GPS and remote signal strength, and distance, height, and speed of the drone. The two dials on the shoulders control the camera’s zoom and tilt of the 2-axis gimbal. Having a 2-axis gimbal versus 3-axis means that rotational movement (side-to-side) will not be stabilized in your videos. \n\nThe drone compass needs to be calibrated each time you launch from a new location. The remote will also perform a GPS search to determine its location for functions like auto return home, drone finder, and certain follow features, which are only available if using outdoors. The mobile app streams a live view of the drone’s camera feed and provides you with on-screen controls for take-off, return home/landing, changing flight modes, and changing settings like safety parameters including maximum flight distance, max altitude, and return altitude. There’s also a flight tracking page that gives you stats on your flight habits like time and distance flown. Snapping photos and starting recordings can be triggered from the app’s on-screen controls or via hand gestures performed by a subject within frame of the camera: peace sign for photos and open palm for video in their respective modes, which I find work well.\n\nYou’re able to view recorded video and snapshots in the app and can download the files wirelessly from the drone to your phone. The max resolution for photos is 3840x2160 while for video is 2560x1440 at 30 fps when recording to the microSD card. Without an SD card, photos and video are saved directly to your mobile device, however, video quality is reduced to 1280x720p at 25 fps. There is no microphone in the camera so no audio is captured in your video footage, however, you can overlay a handful of stock “music” tracks in your recordings from upbeat to dramatic styles. There are also a handful of filter effects as well, and you can even record in “VR” split footage allowing you to experience your flight recordings in 3D.\n\nFlying the drone takes a bit of practice and its wind resistance was a bit less robust

Reviewed on www.bestbuy.com·BarackObama
As a preface, I have flown drones as a hobby before so I’m no beginner, but I still remember my first time flying a drone and did my best to place myself in that mindset to be able to mimic someone who had bought this as their first drone. To say the least, this drone is a good beginner drone but there will be some work required in order to successfully get used to flying one. This is my review of the Contixo F28-Premium Camera Drone.\n\n*TLDR at the bottom\n\n==========================================================\nIN-THE-BOX/SET UP:\nIn the box, you get all the items needed to fly this drone. You even get a nice hard-shell case which many drone manufactures do not include. But one of the key items that were not included is a power brick to charge these devices. You can get away using a typical 5V phone power brick which some may have laying around. But I would’ve liked it if they had included one. On the bright side, a short USB-A to USB-C cable is included but it is only one so you will need to provide another. Another key missing item is a micro-SD card. This drone seems to be for beginners with little to no experience, and with that, I strongly think that a micro-SD card should have been added so a beginner will not have to worry about anything except learning how to fly the drone. Luckily, I had one laying around and used that one. But note that the drone can still be used without an SD card.\n\nSetup time can vary depending on skill level and tech savviness. I would say it can typically take about half an hour or so. The video that Contixo has on their website explaining the setup is quick and to the point but does miss a lot of essential information that drone owners should know. For example, this drone is about .55 grams so there is no need to register the drone with the FAA. A drone will need to be registered if the weight is above 250 grams. If you are a complete beginner, I certainly recommend to watch some intro drone videos that explain everything from manual takeoff, landing safely, flying do’s and don’ts etc. Once you get these videos out of the way, you will gain the confidence to be able to fly one without any doubts!\n\n==========================================================\nFIRST IMPRESSIONS:\nThis drone is at the cheaper end. At first impression, the drone and the controller feel cheap. They both seem to be made with mostly plastic. And unfortunately, it doesn’t feel like the “durable” plastic. I understand due to weight and cost constraints, Contixo may not have wanted to choose something more premium, but the drone seems to feel like it’s one crash away from completely obliterating itself. The controller on the other hand is mostly plastic too but it looks like it will hold up better compared to the drone if there is a drop of some sort. On the other hand, the case has a nice soft texture on the inside and a rough hard shell on the outside which is great for protection. The case is small too, which helps with portability.\n\n==========================================================\nDRONE FEATURES/CONTROLLER:\nThe F28-Premium drone has many features that mostly focuses on the built-in 4k camera. There is the option to take a selfie, get the drone to follow you, and take time-lapse photography. Another feature that is not camera related is the return to home base. This works well from the minor testing I was doing since I was mostly landing the drone manually. \n\nThe controller on the other hand feels alright. It is not the most ergonomic, but I do enjoy how far the compartment expands on top where your phone rests for those large phone users. The adjustment dials on the controller feel good, they are used to control the camera. The controller also has a tiny LCD screen where there is a lot of useful information like information on distance, height, D-Speed, V-Speed, devices connected, and more are all shown on this screen.\n\n==========================================================\nFLYING/VIDEO & CAMERA: \nTakeoff can be done manually or from the app. There is no difference between both, it’s just a preference. You can takeoff from the bare ground or by using the included fabric helipad. It is on the cheaper end and mine did unfortunately come with a couple of rips, regardless, I found that if there is nothing holding the helipad down, the helipad does get pushed away from the sheer wind that the propellers produce. One of the first things I noticed was that the drone doesn’t seem to be balanced. If the drone is left in the air to hover without any input from the controller, the drone tends to sway and drift slowly. I flew the drone on a day where there was little to no wind which gave me the impression that something with the weight balance of the drone may be off. Despite this minor issue, flying the drone felt easy. Input was flawless, sudden stops were responsive, and this little guy can go fast.\n\nThere is a camera gimble cover. Make sure to remove that before turnin

Reviewed on www.walmart.com·Thomas
The Contixo F24 Pro is a solid drone. The setup is straight forward and once the battery and controller are completely charged, it takes little time to unfold the propeller arms and get ready to fly. The Contixo F24 Pro is built well and all parts are high quality. The Contixo F24 Pro acquires satellites and links to the controller quickly. The camera takes good pictures and video even though the camera is not in a 3-axis stabilized gimbal. The manual is very easy to understand and gives good directions. Even though calibrations should be completed every time you fly at different locations, it is the one item that gave me issues when flying at the same location on different days. The Contixo F24 Pro wanted to run the calibration sequence again after flying at the same location. The Contixo F24 Pro is well worth the cost and so far, all the claimed functions are working.

I am a beginner, and I find this drone to be an excellent choice to start. Drones should be fun. Check the FAA website for maps, and check local area restrictions to see if drone flying is legal before you purchase one. The Contixo F22 drone is not a toy.\nUse in an open area. Always CALIBRATE gyros and compass (GPS mode) on a LEVEL surface before flight.\nI did research, and compared to very similar items. I found the Contixo F22 was the best drone for the price when you add the case. The Contixo F22 is very portable. This is one of the best qualities of this drone. The case provides good portection and portability. I find it easy to control and fun to fly.\nI am still in early learning, and I am very happy that I purchased the Contixo F22. When I get more experience and time, I will be able to decide if I want to purchase a larger drone.

This drone is so much fun! This Contixo F24 Pro is my second drone. My first was an $85 cheapo which was difficult to control. Flying it every day. The F24's auto-hover, return home and other advanced flight features make this an incredible deal for under $250. Far less expensive than comparable competitor's models. I did a lot of research before purchasing this drone and I am pleased with my decision. The still and video image quality is fantastic! Everyone who sees me playing with it wants to try it out or but their own. I will be purchasing VR goggles to enhance the experience! Echoing what others have said, beginner flying instructional documentation could be better, even if they simply post on the website. Replacement propellers and spare batteries are available under the name Blumikey. Picture taken during first flight.

This drone performed exactly as we expected from the moment we opened it on Christmas Day. It was packaged very neatly in it's carrying case. I like that it come with replacement blades too. My husband and son thoroughly read all the instructions and after registration, it was up and running perfectly. This drone is just over the weight restrictions where you have to have it registered, so unless you don't want to pay a hefty fine, you better do your research and just do it. There are Karens ready to report you and it's better to be safe than sorry. We are also aware that laws will be changing soon and we potentially will never be able to fly it in another two years, but by then my family will have moved on to another hobby. Overall, we are happy with this purchase and would recommend this drone to our friends.

I had a bit of a struggle getting it going only because I was ill prepared and did not do my research. spinning in a circle to calibrate the GPS feels silly but I suppose it works. I like the variety of modes that are accessible to the user especially things like VR and the auto tracking. Excellent stable quad drone
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·Paul
This is an excellent foldable drone with a lot of great features. I've flown it 3 times successfully since I got it. I highly recommend flying it outside so it can connect with GPS. During my first indoor test flight it seemed to crash into everything it could. Outside flight is extremely stable even in gusty winds. The report to home feature is excellent when you are afraid that you have lost control of this drone. I purchased a second F22 battery to extend my flying sessions. My only regret is not choosing the Contixo F24 drone over the F22. The F24 is supposed to have double the flying time and distance. Overall I think the F22 is an excellent starter drone with great stability and photo/video possibilities.

This is my first foray into the GPS drones. I've played around with toy drones, but this drone is definitely no toy. I was looking at the more expensive DJI Mavic Mini drone, but it was a little too pricey for my 1st drone. This drone seems to have everything an amateur would want in a drone. The only downside I ran into was the app. The app on the google play store is not the most updated version. I had some issue with using the waypoint function, so I reached out to Contixo and they provided me a link to the updated android app. Everything seems to be working, but I still don't understand why it's not in the play store. Oh well, it's still a pretty good drone.

My husband received another model for Christmas and it was broken in two days. Due to the warranty we were able to purchase a different one and we chose the Contixo Drone. The instructions are easier to understand and the weight makes the drone a much better product due to the winds we have at our home. My husband is like a kid and very happy with his new toy. We bought it to manage our 40 acres so we will see how that works. Right now he is learning to navigate but it seems to be very easy for him. Neither of us are techies so this has been fun to navigate the new drone. From the pictures you can see that it is quality.
